The Nelson Warriors fell to the Justice Lions 87-85 in the SWS Conference Championship game, officially ending their pre-NCCAA Tournament schedule.
After three missed shots to tied from up close, with 0.9 seconds left, Lion Vanti Erving Jr. missed the front end of a one-and-one. Harley Upton snagged the rebound and his team immediately called timeout. The play head coach Kole Ebert drew up opened sniper Harley up for a wide-open 35-foot attempt, which just missed off the right side of the rim.
