NCCAA West Region Awards Announced
Three Warriors earn prestigious selection
The NCCAA West Region announced its 2025-26 All-Conference Team on Tuesday, with the Nelson Warriors once again reviving a strong showing with three players earning postseason honors.
Zoe Holman was named West Region MVP and earned First Team All-Region honors in his first season with the Warriors, his second MVP award following his Conference title awarded earlier in the month. The electric junior guard averaged 16.3 points per game on 49.6% shooting from the field and 35.5% from three, while adding 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists across 29 games including both the regular season and the Conference Championship.
Senior Orlando Gonzales joined Holman on the First Team All-Region, his second All-First team award, coupled with his recently awarded All-Conference selection. The veteran guard averaged 12.4 points on 38.9% shooting from beyond the arc, along with 3.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 25 regular season appearances. Last season, he earned Third Team All-Region honors following the program's national championship run.
Terrin Ross was named to the Second Team All-Region for the second consecutive season, after receiving Second Team all-Conference this season. The senior forward averaged 12.1 points on 51.1% shooting from the field, along with 6.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
All-Region selections are determined by a vote of all six West Region head coaches, that includes an even split of programs in Arizona and California.
These three Warriors' selection by the region's head coaches is a testament not only to individual excellence, but also the leadership and consistency they've brought to a program now preparing for its third straight NCCAA National Tournament appearance.
