Celebrate Senior Night with a White Out!

The Nelson Warriors Ladies Basketball team encourages all fans to come and support the Lady Warriors on Senior Night against Bethesda University on Wednesday February 11, at 5pm in the Scott Activity Center.

Come wearing white as the game is White Out themed.

Tatiana Ayala is the club's lone Senior this year, and will be playing in her second-to-last home game of her career.

Ms. Ayala is currently enjoying a career-year, with career-high averages in points (7.5), rebounds (7.6), assists (1.7), FG% (38.75%) while taking care of the call better than ever with a career-low in turnovers (2.1). For her career, she now averages 7.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0,6 steals, and 1.2 blocks, per game.

With two games left on the schedule, the Lady Warriors are looking to snap their recent three-game losing-streak when they take on the Lion Angels in the first game of a double-header that is capped off by the men taking on their Bethesda-based counterparts beginning at 7pm.

The ladies are 1-0 this season against Bethesda, having defeated them 63-39 in Anaheim on February 9. Ms. Ayala tied Chloe Warren for a game-high 10 points on 5-7 shooting, while grabbing a season-high 14 rebounds, to go along with 1 assist and 1 steal.

The Lady Warriors finish up the regular season on Tuesday, February 17, at 5:30pm when they take on the Ottawa Spirit at the Scott Activity Center.
