The Nelson Warriors (24-23) open the 2026 NCCAA Baseball World Series this morning in Kansas City, Missouri — the program's first-ever appearance in the national championship tournament.
After clinching the NCCAA West Division Championship with a dominant doubleheader sweep over Justice, the Warriors earned an automatic berth and will compete against the nation's top teams beginning with an 8/9 bout against Ohio Christian.
Should they win, they would play again later in the day, taking on 1-seed University of Fort Lauderdale at 3pm.
